Beach Babies!

We just wrapped up a wonderful week at the beach. The kids wiggled their toes in the sand, ran from the waves (that was The Boss and Cousin O), LOTS of pool time, and a bit of exercise on the beach for mom and dad -technically we chased The Boss up and down the beach. It looked a little bit like this....

We came home a day early (the Farmer had to get back to the cows), but we didn't stop the fun. We wrapped up our vacation with burgers...

...and a movie!

Where Have You Been???

Every year its the same thing. August starts and I go MIA. Where do you go? What are you doing?

This is what I'm doing. I'm creating HUGE messes that I have to clean up. Yeah, school has started and I'm back in my room trying to make sense of the chaos. But, I'm not without company. If you look real close you can see this little sweetie hiding amongst the debris.

I dragged the two girls with me of course. The Queen helped out quite a bit. she organized this cabinet for me.

Not too bad! She works for Sonic...even better. When she isn't cleaning out my cabinet, she is auditioning for her Hollywood debut.

At the end of the weeksss, I did end up with a finished room. I'm almost finished with all the clerical, um, junk that has to be done too.

Now I can go home to the little man.

Who can't love coming home to this mug!! Yikes!
