I'm not sure what this Christmas thing is all about. I have done some studying on it and I don't think it makes sense except to say it is the time when all rules are turned inside out.
- Trees are brought indoors. Who does that? Then you hang lights on it and put toys on it that I can't reach. Really? How does that make sense?
- Fancy socks are hung on the wall. (I thought maybe just my folks did that, but Cousin O showed me her mantle...yup socks! Who knew?)
- Mom makes SWEETS like COOKIES! Yeah sounds great, and it is. Did you know that some of the cookies were shaped like little men? Creepy... (P.S. Those were my favorite!!!)
- We visit people. No, that isn't weird exactly, but I mean a lot of people. I went to...yeah I lost count of the houses we went to. It was fun though. I liked those tall men I saw at Ninos. They were all right you know. I wonder if Mom made the cookies to look like them. Hmmmm....
- You go to church in the middle of the week. What!? Mom says we are celebrating Jesus' birthday. Whatever, I agree with the Monkey on this one,"That is the opposite of a birthday party! Stand up, sit down, where is the fun in that?" Of course I don't know maybe that is what birthdays are all about. If so, no birthdays for me!
- Last, but not least, you get these things called presents. I don't know why they give you stuff when you already got stuff. I guess so you can have more stuff. BUT I LIKE IT!!!!
