School's Out for Summer!

The doors closed on my classroom Tuesday, and the kiddos and I are in the full swing of summer. Of course there is a bucket list...

1. During the year my house has developed into a living entity. It feasts on the chaos my lovely family leaves in its wake. The house has become gluttonous and greedy. I will tame it this summer. I will show it who's boss! I will start with the trashcan! 

Everybody's working hard...well almost.

2. Normally my kiddos run wild in the summer. They play without a care in the world and inhale Popsicles like they were manna, BUT this summer I plan on working their brains so they don't suffer from the summer slide...no not the slide out in the back. Thanks to a little help from Teachers Pay Teachers and Amazon I got them hooked up.  Of course the Monkey was a little less than impressed. The look on her face was worth it though...classic. Hands up and mouth open. She had been sucker punched, but a few foam stickers won her over.

3. Finally, I'm making time for a little hanging out and enjoying the craziness. Rumor has it there may be a little bit of beach living coming my way. We are ready!
